Pani Puri set was decent. Loved the curried potato fillings but chutneys was abit diluted. Ok as a whole. Great experience especially to have it here in Singapore. Also ordered the Samosa Chaat and absolutely love it. Each spoonful was a symphony of flavours and textures. Would come back again for this or another Chaat. Spice level was A-ok.Mango lassi wasn’t the usual cloyingly sweet drink like many places does it. Was able to still taste the tanginess of the yoghurt.
Quick service and tasty food at this little hole in the wall place. We came back 2 nights in a row for their pani puri because we loved them so much. Also tried the mutton biryani and it was very good. Would recommend to anyone for that Singaporean on the street vibe.
Went for the pani puri after someone posted on Insta. Was very disappointed by the very meagre filling and the ‘pani’ liquids. They recommended the masala chicken and white rice to my friend probably because we were foreigners. The rice was not freshly cooked and chicken was not very tasty.I did order the chaat and that was very delicious though a bit spicy for my palate. There were only two waiters and every table was full, so service was slow. However, it was great fun to people watch and seeing the table next door eat dishes of dhal and roti I will definitely go back to try that as it looked very authentic and smelt divine and roti was being freshly cooked. The grilled chicken also may be worth a try.
This corner shop has a great atmosphere with T Series jams in the background and lots of groups enjoying a meal and some drinks. The highlight for me was the breads with the naan crisp yet doughy. The chickpea masala was our stand out curry but enjoyed it all. The curries could have had a little more seasoning.
