Amazingly tasty Indian vegetarian food that even my carnivorous friends loved it. We ate Tandoori platter, gobi manchurian, garlic and butter naans, bhindi masala and dal makhani- all of which were perfectly cooked with the right amount of spices. The chilli parotta was a bit of a surprise since I had no idea it was going to be very similar to gobi manchurian in taste. The food is also not too hot in terms of taste, so not-Indians can also enjoy it. You can ask to make it not spicy-hot or crank it up to Indian levels, if that’s your thing. The place also looks a bit cleaner than some others. Recommended for good tasting Indian food. Hope they maintain their standard and stay in business.
Had there newly introduced lunch meal. It was yummy and more than enough of a person. It was a really good meal for the price paid. Overall, the taste at the restaurant was good. We reserved the table for 10 people so we got sitting on the second floor. Luckily that day the floor was only occupied by our group hence we had an experience of a mini party hall.
The reception provided upon entry was warm and cheerful which hinted that the entire dining experience was going to be top notch, and I was right. Prakash and his wonderful team were attentive and were able to suggest menu items to my Chinese friends that fully met their expectations. Definitely going to return to the little India outlet to experience the wonderful food and experience again.
One of the popular North Indian restaurants in Little India area of Singapore. I tried Dal, Paneer, starters as well as Chinese items. The chef was quite courteous and responsive to requests. Food was delicious and authentic but certainly not the best Indian food in Singapore. I found desi chinese items to be even better than North Indian items though quantity of dishes could be improved.
Dinner time is busy, but usually queue and waiting is not long. Food was decent, just the right amount of everything without overdoing anything, in a way felt better than city hall outlet. Usual Indian vegetarian menu, but no complaints about that.Place and the tableware were clean and new. There is dining area on first floor as well, which on some days converts to party hall. Budget is about 20-25 per person for a decent meal. Highlight: Staff were very friendly, soft-spoken and helpful.
