We stayed in citadines for few days and had our breakfast, lunch and dinner in adayar anand bhavan most of the times. As we have frequented this A2B in tamilnadu frequently we were familiar with the taste. We had idly vada, pongal vada, ghee roast, oothappam, idiyappam, poori, and full south indian meals on various days. The taste was wonderful and almost similar to the ones in Coimbatore, erode, salem, etc. When enquired they said the chef is from tamilnadu only and most of ingredients are also from there. Hence the Familiar and uniform taste. The Filter coffee was the highlight. Taste was the best I had in singapore. They also have sweet and savories counter for those searching for tamilnadu sweets and kaaram.Unlike other places they have spacious seating and photos were taken early in the morning when we went for coffee.
The food is awesome. Not much crowded, so you get ample time to sit and eat slowly. They prepare the food quiet fast after you order. Definitely a must place to dinein at little India.
Good place for pure hygienic vegetarian South Indian food..Just in front of Mustafa market.Prices are normal..Taste is authentic South Indian 👍🏽The place is a bit crowded, old and noisy.
The place is quite new, so less crowded (even on weekends). Its walkable from Tekka Centre bus stop. The taste is not so great and it is pricey. Other pros and cons are as follows:Pros:+ Less crowded+ In prime location+ Service by the staff was polite and good+ Coffee tasted amazingCons- Most of the dishes like Idli, dosai and Chapatthis taste average- The lady at the counter is slow- Wait time can be longer as only 2 or 3 staff attend to the customers.
